Fixie in Beijing
Fix Gear Revolution II was held in Beijing again this year, put on by Nantooke and Smarter Than Cars. Turns out Beijing hipsters share similar else-where hipster qualities…cynical, funny, and exclusive. I was, however, invited to join in on a game. I spent most of the time trying to figure out how to get my feet in the harnesses while not stopping and ran into one of my own teammates once, but I also scored once. Fixie street cred for that.
